Minnesota Zoo Field Study

4 comments:

  1. Yesterday we visited the Minnesota Zoo. I learned that armadillos bob their heads when their calm. The five classes of invertebrates spell "Mr. Fab"-Mammals, Reptiles, Fish, Amphibians and Birds.

My favorite part of the trip was when we saw the bird show. My favorite bird was named Coconut. (He was really funny!)

Some questions I still have are "Are coral reefs still rare?", "How many deadly sharks are there?" and "How old can seahorses grow up to?"

    Sincerely,
    Vivian

  2. Yesterday we visited the minnesota zoo I learned that the turtle lost part of its digestive system when it got hit by a boat propellor. It was a sea turtle. It lost use of its back flippers.

My favorite part was the bird show when the bird Coconut went upside down. I liked feeling the sharks and stingrays.

Some questions I still have how did the turtle lose its digestive system? How did it lose its digestive system? How did it lose its balance?

    Sincerely, Alivia

  3. Yesterday we visited the Minnesota zoo. I learned that green-cheeked amazon parrots eat grapes. I also learned that not all parrots have to be colorful. I also learned that not all owls are nocturnal.

My favorite part was when i got to hold Sprout. Another favorite part was when I got to see the ducks.

Some questions I still have are how many different species of sharks are there? And what do flamingos eat?

    Sincerely,
    Mfaz

  4. Yesterday we visited the Minnesota Zoo. I learned that armadillos don't like to be held by people. I also learned armadillos are shy.

My favorite part was seeing all the cool animals and seeing the flamingos sleeping on one foot. Also seeing the ducks put their face in the water over and over again. I also liked seeing a duck with red webbed feet.

There are some questions I still have. Why do ducks have pink and other colors on their feet?

    Sincerely,
    Jamia
